In 1965 Ann Lorenz and her son Billy Browskey founded The Char in downtown Beckley. In 1975, The Char moved to our current location in a beautiful woodland setting on Dry Hill Road. For over 50 years, we have been delighting our customers with the finest dining experience in the area.
